Most of her music and art education Marina got in Moscow/Russia which is where she’s originally from. Her parents divorced when she was 11 and her mother moved to USA permanently. Marina had been traveling back and forth until she turned 21 when she decided to move to US. Marina had been taking classes of pop vocal, modern dance, piano and acting at The Kids and Teens Art Palace since she was and also sang in the world renowned children’s chorus Popova in Moscow. In pursuit of becoming a solo pop vocalist, she has done numerous shows and performances, singing pop songs in both English and Russian. At 17 years old Marina got certification of completing 90 hours master class as a singer/performer in RMA music Agency and performed at one of the Moscow clubs with her graduation showcase. She also studied Acting in the Slavonic International Institute and Vocal and Music at the Modern Art Institute. Marina started to write songs at the age of 20 and most of her songwriting has been inspired by her relationships. She was awarded by the International Library of Poetry for the song “Perfect Dream” while “Still Standing” was published in Poetry.com’s Editor’s Choice series in 2008. November 2008 Marina independently recorded three singles and October 2009 she has taken her music to the next level with a Music Video for the song “Shattered Dreams”. Marina is also pursuing commercial print modeling. She has recently became a contestant of Miss Diaspora Models 2009 which is going to take place December 5th in NY.
